It is all about attributes (characteristics)
Each card has a color, number, shading, and shape.
You need to find a set of three that have all attributes the same or all attributes different.

Here are some examples:

This is a set because the color, shape and shading are the same but the number is different.

This is another set because they shape is same but the color, number, and shading are different.

And another set because the shape is the same, but the color, number, and shading are different.

And another set because the shading is the same, but the color, number and shape is different.
